Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there duplicate images in my feeds?
Why do images look different than on the website?
If images in your feed seem like smaller or cropped versions of what you see on the website, it’s likely because the RSS feed provides different content than the website itself. You can enable article content in the feed settings to pull in the full images from the linked article page.
You can also reach out to the website and ask them to include full-size images in their feed.
The app says there is no media in the feed, but I see content on the website?
Some sites provide feeds that only include excerpts or omit media entirely—even when the website itself is full of images. This is a limitation of how the site’s RSS feed is configured. You can enable article content in the feed settings to have LightWatch visit each linked article and pull in the images it finds there.
You can also reach out to the website and ask them to include media in their feed.
