How do I hide feeds and channels?
Keep certain feeds and channels behind biometric authentication.
Hidden content lets you tuck feeds and channels away from your everyday browsing. Hidden items are protected by Face ID or Touch ID, so they only appear when you authenticate.
Hiding an existing feed or channel
- From the Home tab, tap the More menu in the top right.
- Tap Settings, then tap Feeds.
- Tap the feed or channel you want to hide.
- Toggle Hidden on.
Once hidden, it won’t appear in your main galleries, tabs, or search results.
Adding content as hidden
When you add a feed or create a channel while hidden content is unlocked, the new feed or channel is automatically added as hidden. If hidden content is locked, new feeds and channels are added normally. This lets you add hidden content without having to go back and toggle it afterward.
Accessing hidden content
Tap the hidden content button and authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID to reveal your hidden feeds and channels. You can repeat this to lock hidden content again.
Hidden content settings
These settings are in the Hidden Content section of Settings.
- From the Home tab, tap the More menu in the top right.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the Hidden Content section.
Enable Hidden Content — Use this to disable the feature entirely if you don’t care to use it and want to hide the menu items.
Lock When App Loses Focus — Automatically re-locks hidden content when you switch away from the app.
Show Quick Unlock Button — When you open the app, a button briefly appears in the gallery toolbar that lets you unlock hidden content. This only appears when the app was previously locked via auto-lock.
