Channels let you group feeds by interest. This is useful if you’d like to use LightWatch for different interests but don’t want to see them all jumbled together. It’s also useful to reduce noise if your feeds are particularly busy.

Creating a channel

  1. From the Channels tab, tap the More menu in the top right.
  2. Tap Add channel.
  3. Give it a name that reflects the topic and assign existing feeds you would like to appear in the channel.

Adding feeds to channels

Each feed can belong to one or more channels. To assign a feed:

  1. From the Home tab, tap the More menu in the top right.
  2. Tap Settings, then tap Feeds.
  3. Tap the feed you want to assign.
  4. Under Channels, select which channels it belongs to.

Feeds that aren’t assigned to any channel still appear in the Home and Feeds tabs.

Browsing by channel

The Channels tab provides a list of your channels. You can tap the title of a channel to see a gallery of media from all feeds in that group or tap any item to focus on it in the context of that channel.
