How do I share a feed?

Share your favorite feeds with other people via a link.

You can share feeds with other people so they can subscribe too. When you share a feed with someone else, any customized filter settings are shared as well, so they get the curated experience.

Sharing a feed

There are a few ways to share a feed:

From a feed's gallery

  1. From the Feeds or Channels tab, tap a feed's title to open its gallery.
  2. Tap the More menu in the top right.
  3. Tap Share Feed.

From the focus gallery

  1. Long-press on the feed title at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Share Feed.

From the browse view

  1. In the Feeds or Channels tab, long-press on a feed's title.
  2. Tap Share Feed.

What gets shared

LightWatch generates a link that includes:

  • The feed URL
  • Your custom filters and display settings for that feed

The recipient gets a preview of the feed and can choose to subscribe if they wish.
